Learn how your business really works. Then automate it.

Most automation fails because nobody can describe exactly how the work is done. Wingman observes, with permission, how your staff use their applications, including old and unsupported ones, and builds the map your agents and replacements are made from.

Four lenses

How Wingman learns an application

What it can do

Every screen, menu, field, button and report, for desktop and web applications alike.

What each action does

The data, files and services each action reads or changes, linked to the action that caused it.

How it is really used

Who does what, how often and in what order, including the exceptions and the features nobody uses.

Why it is done that way

Short answers staff give at natural pauses, so the reasons behind the process are kept too.

What you get

From observation to automation

A capability map

Living documentation for systems that have none: what each screen does and who uses it.

Agent training packs

Step-by-step procedures and real, redacted examples to train agents for each role.

Replacement specs

What a modern replacement needs, a parity checklist of what people really use, and what can be dropped.

The personal use shield

It learns applications, not people

Staff will sometimes check their bank or book a GP appointment on a work PC. Wingman expects that and protects them from it: personal and sensitive sites are recognised and filtered out on the PC itself, before anything is kept, and Wingman never reports personal use to anyone.

  • Only named business applications are learned
  • Banking, health and personal sites blocked on the device
  • Private browsing never captured
  • One-click pause, visible to staff
  • Personal data redacted before anything is stored
  • No recordings kept
How an engagement runs

A few weeks of learning instead of months of discovery

Set up

Agree scope and the applications to learn, brief staff, and install Wingman through your normal device management.

Learn

Wingman observes the applications in scope for a few weeks, with a short weekly summary of what it has found.

Confirm

A workshop with your team reviews the map and fills the gaps: a review of findings, not a blank page.

Build

Agents are trained from the packs and replacements are built and run side by side until they match.
